Palaiochori, is located in the southern part of Milos and has a beach 2 km which is one of the most impressive on the island. Its coast consists of colourful pebbles, thick sand and crystal clear blue deep waters. Its characteristic is the imposing and colourful vertical rocks that reach the shore, a result of the volcanic energy and geological peculiarity of the area.

Tsigrado

Tsigrado is a beach In the southern part of Milos which is accessible in a rather adventurous way. To get down to the beach you must use ropes and a wooden ladder! Beach lovers, of course, claim that the task is not so difficult and that the place will reward you. It is a small cove, with clear waters, with rocks forming an awesome landscape. A swim on this beach will rejuvenate you.

Sarakiniko

Sarakiniko is located in the northern part of Milos and swimming there is a unique experience in clear blue waters, especially for those who love the rocks and not the organized beaches. The white rocks on the beach were created by the repeated deposition of layers of material, while fossils have been found inside them. It overlooks Sifnos and Kimolos, while when strong winds do not blow, bathing in its crystal clear waters remains unforgettable to the visitor.

Fyropotamos

Firopotamos is one of the fishing villages of Milos that consist of traditional seaside houses, "Syrmata". It seems to have been left behind in time with the houses with the colored doors on the sand welcoming you and the boats being ready for fishing. The turquoise, transparent and rich bottom waters are waiting for you for countless dives. The dive in Firopotamos is in itself an experience as you are surrounded by volcanic rocks and overlook a picturesque landscape.

The traditional settlement of Mytakas has a beautiful sandy beach with clear blue waters that are between narrow capes and picturesque fishing villages.

Kapros

Kapros is located in the northern part of Milos and has a narrow beach with rocky shores, but also a natural stone bridge which is a challenge for diving. The coast is very small and stretches between two rocks. The water is clean and the surrounding nature has little vegetation.

Papafragas

Papafragas Beach in the northern part of Milos is located right next to the archeological site of the prehistoric Prison. A unique landscape has been created by nature with coves, openings and caves that buzz in the Aegean. Papafragas Cave is a deep sea cave, where you can swim in turquoise waters between gray and white rocks.

Rivari

Rivari is a natural lagoon that is a refuge for migratory birds. The beach is surrounded by small vegetation and low hills. This is a good place to enjoy absolute privacy, as the west side of Milos has not developed much in tourism.

Patrikia

In the bay of Milos you will need to drive on a dirt road and cover a distance on foot to reach Patrikia, but you will certainly not regret it! You will find yourself on 3 of the most isolated beaches of the island with white sandy beach with crystal clear waters. The capital of Plaka can be clearly seen in the background, on the opposite side of the pedal.

Thiorichia

The sulfur mines are located in the eastern part of the island in the small bay of Paliorema. The wild mysterious landscape will take you back in time thanks to the old sulfur extraction mine that stopped operating in 1956. You will enjoy your swim on a beach with yellow pebbles and crystal clear waters. The beach is also one of the geological attractions of the island and you can see wagons on their rails, old rusty tools and unused spare parts in the warehouse.

Fyriplaka

Fyriplaka is one of the most famous and busy beaches in the southern part of Milos. The apparently volcanic colorful rocks that surround it create a stunning landscape. The beach is quite large and is cut in half by a rock which detached from the mountain. It has shallow turquoise waters while on the shore you will find a wide gray sandy beach.

Agia Kyriaki

Agia Kyriaki is located in the southern part of Milos and is ideal for those days with north winds. Its length reaches about 600 meters and both on the coast and in the sea you will find the characteristic sand in combination with small white pebbles. The blue waters are usually cool and gradually deepen making it an ideal destination for families with children.

Provatas

Provatas is located in the southern part of Milos and is ideal for those days with north winds. It is a large and organized beach with golden sand and shallow waters. It is ideal for families with small children. In the summer months there is local transport from Adamas to reach this beach.

Gerontas

Gerontas is a beach located in the southern part of Milos. It is accessible by car, but you have to go through the quarry on foot and at your own risk. When you reach the beach, the landscape is sure to reward you. A small bay with fine white rocks around and a natural bridge that connects sea and land on its right.
